Early this morning students of Makerere University staged a Peaceful demonstration within the University premises in solidarity of their missing comrade who hasn’t been seen since Friday.

Mukisa Joshua was last seen by his roommate Tadeo on Friday when he went out to buy supper after reading for his international law exam which was scheduled for yesterday where he made no appearance hence prompting a search in every examination room led by the Chairman Lumumba hall where he resides with the help of Dr.Kabumba his lecture which still didn’t yield any results.

His father Mr.Muzaale later filed a complaint of missing person at the Makerere police station but up to now the police hasn’t made any effort to find Mukisa which has prompted fellow students to stage a peaceful demonstration demanding for clues from Police.

Elvis Omoit, Chairman Lumumba says”We filed a complaint at police but the OC is taking us for granted and if nothing is done by end of today, we matching to the Police headquarters to demand for the resignation of the OC makerere Police post”

We tried to reach out to Mr.Okello, the OC Makerere Police Post but his phones were not available.

Mukisa Joshua is a 3rd year law student and former guild Presidential candidate in the recently concluded elections of Makerere University where he was the 1st runner up after Katterega Julius who were both “People Power” Candidates in the race.

The search for Mukisa Joshua is still on and anyone who knows anything concerning his whereabouts is kindly requested to report to Makerere Police Station.
