President Paul Kagame and Yoweri Museveni meet in South Africa

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today met his Rwanda Counterpart President Paul Kagame in Pretoria South Africa at the Inauguration ceremony of South African president Cyril Ramaphosa who also commenced his 5 year tenure.
It is the first time the two presidents were physically meeting since March last year.
Seated next to each other Presidents Paul and Yoweri were photographed exchanging comfortably at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
The meeting of these two leaders comes hours after a significant tension between Rwanda and Uganda.
Last night The Rwandan military shot and killed two people on the Ugandan side of the border which included a Rwandan and a Ugandan.
During this incident, the Rwandan who was killed was a business man trying to cross back to Rwanda with smuggled goods while the Ugandan was one of the persons who had come to intervene.
Rwanda since March has banned its citizens from conducting cross border trade with Uganda, and also discouraging its citizens from travelling to Uganda with accusations that Uganda hosts and supports forces that are working to overthrow Kagame’s government.
With more than one Occasion Kagame has spoken about the bad blood with Uganda and accusing President Museveni of shunning talks.
Details of what the two Presidents discussed in South Africa are yet to come.
