In case you missed Bobi Wine’s interview on TV channel France 24 yesterday evening, here is a link to watch it https://f24.my/54dy.t
The People Power maestro and Kyandondo East legislator continues with his tour of Europe engaging various stakeholders and mobilising support for the ever-growing movement calling for change in Uganda come this 2021.
Mr. Bobi Wine yet again reiterated that he is seriously thinking about offering himself as a candidate for Opposition in Uganda to challenge Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who has been in power since 1986. He talked about the wind of change blowing across Africa that has seen to the collapse of long serving dictators in Ivory Coast, Algeria, Zimbabwe and Sudan. He predicted that Uganda too could be on the same path seeing how Museveni and his NRM party continue to stifle civil liberties and cling to power at all costs.
In this interview, Mr. Bobi Wine was composed and collected, evidence that he continues to grow into a smart and respectable politician. Speaking on policy issues, he made it clear that Uganda is not lacking of good policy proposals, but rather, lacks a team that is dedicated to walk the talk. He condemned the culture of corruption that continues to be propagated by Museveni and his band of friends. Bobi Wine believes this is one of the major causes of the suffering in Uganda.
