Just hours after being relieved of his duties as Uganda Cranes coach, Sebastien Desabre has landed a mega deal to join Egypt’s Pyramids Football Club as coach. Reports say that Desabre was being chased by Al Ahly SC as well. He has signed a two-year contract.
Desabre was sacked after a 1-0 defeat to Senegal at the Afcon last 16 round.
This will be Desabre’s second job in Egypt after a short spell with Ismaily in 2017, where he took charge of the club for 18 games. Desabre has previously coached at ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast, CS Garoua in Cameroon and ES Tunis in Tunisia, JS Saoura in Algeria and Wydad Athletic Club in Morocco.
