Reports coming in confirm two Ugandans were tortured, rights violated before they were deported back to Uganda by Rwanda
The torture victims identified as Buwambwe Brian and Wasswa Abdul claim they were tortured and deported leaving behind property worth lots of millions.
However sources indicate that the two gentlemen were found in possession of outdated identification documents and were thus regarded as prohibited immigrants by Rwandan authorities.
The incident that occurred Monday had a deportation notification signed by Rwanda’s Director for immigration and Emigration Francois Gatarayiha who stated that two Ugandans had been deported pursuant to Article 13 of the Law on immigration and Emigration in Rwanda.
However Wasswa and Buwambwe complained to the authorities in Uganda that they had suffered torture at the hands of Rwandans prior to their deportation back to Uganda.
