Kyadondo East Legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has said he is concerned about his life after having declared his intention to run for president ahead of the 2021 elections.
Bobi Wine who survived death at the hands of soldiers during the violence ahead of the Arua municipality by-election in August 2018 says that the ruling NRM party views him as a threat to their stay in power because there has never been a threat to this regime like the threat the he and his followers pose towards the overthrow of Museveni.
The artiste turned politician has already borne the wrath of the regime, which has blocked his music concerts, in what he views as an attempt to cripple him financially.
Despite all the charges that have been slapped against Bobi wine including treason, he still maintains his position that Power has been taken away from the people by those that wield guns, and that’s what he wants to end through the vote come 2021.
He also noted that his major aim is to multiply himself and ideology to various young men and women so that there are as many Bobi Wines as possible who will fight to rescue the Country from the gutters of the mafia.
Nevertheless President Museveni continues to accuse Bobi Wine and other opposition figures of trying to lure young people into deadly rioting in the name of trying to change the government.
