Effective August 28th, the Uganda airlines will start its first commercial flights a month later than the public had been told. Surprisingly, Uganda which had been promised a middle income status by 2020 will have planes that cannot cross beyond the African continent. In East Africa, Rwanda a smaller country than Uganda has direct flights operating to European destinations something that the new Uganda airlines cannot do. To spice up this fact with salt and pepper, over 40 years back, Uganda had Airbuses but today it is a different story. The government officials and civil servants themselves have expressed fear to associate with the flights because they hardly trust its technicalities.
