Victoria University Kampala Uganda yesterday held its 4th Graduation ceremony at Speke Resort Munyonyo at which 50 students received their academic credentials.
The 50 students graduated in areas of; Health Sciences, Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Business and Management.
This graduation ceremony was graced by the University Chancellor Dr. Martin Jerome Aliker, the Vice Associate Prof Krishna N. Sharma and University Promoter Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia.
Perhaps as an improvement from other Universities in Uganda, the graduates from Victoria University walked away with their final academic transcripts and credentials.
Victoria University is one of the companies in the Ruparelia Group of Companies and has for the past few years aspired to set itself aside as a premier and elite academic institution offering academic instruction to learners at the heart of Kampala. It is also the first University to teach an Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport after gaining charter from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT)
However, as the numbers at the Graduation event suggest, the University continues to struggle in a market with multiple private and public universities. It does not help their cause that their tuition fees are somewhat on the high end.
