Today afternoon, various celebrities made their way to Rubaga Cathedral for the “celebrity mass” in which several artists, musicians and influential people in the arts turned up to thank the Lord for the favours he had granted to them.

Writing about the event, Kyadondo East legislator, Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu made the following remarks;
“The first time we had a #CelebrityMass at Rubaga Cathedral was when our brother Radio had passed on. I did not attend it because I was on a flight to the US for studies. The second one was when fellow celebrities were praying for me following the Arua saga, I did not attend it because I was under military detention…

…The third one was today and it was themed ‘God is good’. Indeed God is good for he allowed us to attend today’s celebrity mass just to thank Him for allowing us to be alive today despite all the challenges…

…Police and LDUs blocked us on the way from church, teargassed us as we drove and beat up the boda boda riders who were escorting me back home. Up to now, I am still struggling to understand their purpose.”

The event was well attended by various celebrities and People Power enthusiasts from across the country who turned up to show solidarity to the voices of change spearheaded by several celebrities.
