On January 28, a few days after the coronavirus outbreak, China authorities immediately started up a project of building Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province. This hospital was started to take care of the coronavirus victims and treat them as soon as possible.
The hospital was started with a plan to be completed within six days. Serious construction immediately started and so far, the results are promising. The site already has standing structures as more building materials are being put in place to yield the set finishing time.
The coronavirus broke out in Wuhan, China and spread very fast to different countries including the USA, France, Singapore, India and many more. So far 8,235 cases have been confirmed all over the affected countries with mainland China alone having 8,124 cases of coronavirus infection.
In a bid to control the virus, various countries have taken steps to close borders and many flights to and from China have been canceled. The World Health Organisation also declared the coronavirus a world health emergency saying that it should be prevented from reaching vulnerable countries, especially in Africa.
China is however in shortage of masks after the great increase in demand and plans are underway on how to import masks from neighboring countries as soon as possible.
