Kenyan police has arrested four Chinese nationals following the leakage of their brutal video in which one is seen whipping a Kenyan national.
In a Sunday police led operation on the Chez Wou Restaurant in Kileleshwa, a suburb in Nairobi, at least four Chinese linked to the brutality were arrested. Eight more Kenyan hotel staff were detained to aid the investigations.
According to the Kenyan police, the Chinese brute seen whipping the unnamed Kenyan national does not even own a working permit. He is illegally working as the hotel chef yet he has no documents permitting him to work in Kenya.
The Kenyan Director of Criminal Investigations through their Twitter handle revealed that the visas of the detained Chinese are even expired. The only Chinese with a valid visa works as cashier at the hotel yet his Visa is of a visitor’s version.
In the disturbing video recorder at Chez Wou Restaurant in Kileleshwa, Nairobi last week, a Chinese national is depicted flogging a pleading Kenyan waiter for being a late comer.
Currently the suspects are being held in custody of Kilimani police station pending investigations.
