Social media has been painted with messages comfort to the families of slain people power activists Ritah and Daniel who were killed in a space of two days.
Singer Jose Chameleon has eulogized the two and expressed deep sadness on how the two met there fate at the hands of security operatives saying that “death by execution must never be taken lightly.”
Chameleon also condemned the police efforts of blocking Bobi wines presidential consultations which has tainted the image of the security forces turning them into an enemy of the people.
Why should someone die because a political consultation must not go on. Is this cost of stopping consultations meaningful? Taking lives of bread winners?
Is the cost of sustaining the forces meaningful? and that of making the forces an enemy of the people?
He called for the encouragement of peace as brothers and sisters, condemned the killings and asked government and security to explore a cautious approach to such situations.
