The NRM Chapter in South Africa has started campaigning for President Museveni ahead of the 2021 presidential elections against Bobi Wine.
The NRM Southern Africa Chapter Chairperson Isma Luzige noted that the early campaigns for Museveni will commence with a three-day conference hosting over 150 delegates strategizing on how to win the 2021 elections.
The 150 delegates hail from the provinces of South Africa and other party leaders in the SADC region such as South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
The conference scheduled for March 6 to 8 at Emalahleni city hall in Mpumalanga will dispatch teams to various countries in Southern Africa and in Uganda to start campaigning for Museveni ahead of the tight 2021 race.
“We want to start countering People Power propaganda here in Southern Africa and back home in Uganda. We want to put a block on President Museveni’s campaigns before the 2021 elections.”said Luzige
A few months ago the NRM chapter in South Africa endorsed Museveni as the sole candidate for the forthcoming 2021 elections.
