The former senior presidential advisor has pronounced himself as Uganda’s most abusive man of the time. Mirundi revealed that he could not compare to renowned Makerere suspended academician, Stella Nyanzi who also takes a lead in her style of radical rudeness largely professed in her poetry.
While appearing before his weekly ‘One on One’ political talk show hosted on NBS Television, Mirundi told the moderator that he currently upgraded his abusive skills. “I am currently number three in the most abusive in the family. I have initiated a new vocabulary for abusing,” Mirundi furiously told Kazibwe Bashir, his host. “My grandmother abused a catechist and was detained for six months. My auntie abused the village and reaped big to set up an iron sheet roofed house,” he further says.
On the same show, Mirundi said his family is endowed with a great vocabulary of insults. He said it is a family blessing that has earned them wealth and respect. “I currently have a strategically abusive daughter. Abusing is deeply embedded in our DNA. It is our thing that we earn from,” Mirundi says.
The former senior presidential advisor on media served in State House for fourteen years before he was forced into leave after alleged misconduct. Mirundi was implicated by veteran journalist, Andrew Mwenda and the former Kampala minister, Frank Kagyigyi Tumwebaze. Since his exit that dates back to six years ago, Mirundi speaks of the incident as if it just happened a day prior. He holds a lifetime hate on the duo as he oftentimes reveals how he will never forgive them for eternity. “They fought me over the shs 5 billion after faking a tape that I abused the first lady. I will never forgive those Mafias. When they go to heaven I will gently leave. I can’t share space with those Mafias,” Mirundi usually fumes in his weekly TV and Radio shows.
