Matt Hancock, the British Secretary of State for Health and Social Care has tested positive for coronavirus. he confirmed in a video posted to Twitter on Friday.
This comes shortly after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced he tested positive for COVID-19 as well, becoming the first world leader have to do so.
Now both United Kingdom’s prime minister and health secretary have tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.
According to him, “Fortunately for me, the symptoms so far have been very mild, so I’ve been able to carry on with the work driving forward the UK response,” Hancock said.
