A man suspected of having coronavirus has escaped from quarantine at Gulu regional referral hospital. Charles okello, a resident of Lanenober parish in Lakwana Sub-County was relocated from omoro district coronaviru quarantine centre in Opit primary school on monday after coming into contact with his boss, a kenyan businessman who tested positive.
Speaking to members of the Acholi regional coronavirus task Force on Wednesday Martin Ojara Mapenduzi, The Gulu LCV chairperson said that okello escaped on Wednesday morning from the health facility after he was asked to sit outside the quarantine room.
Ojara added that they have alerted all security and residents of Lakwana to apprehend the suspect.
