Boris Johnson has been moved to intensive care after his condition worsened, ekyooto has learnt. According to Downing Street, the UK premier’s conditions went on worsening from the time he was admitted.
The prime minister was admitted to St Thomas’ Hospital in London on Sunday night – 10 days after testing positive for coronavirus – due to continuing symptoms of COVID-19. Mr. Johnson has been admitted to intensive care as a precaution in case he needs ventilation.
After the worsening of the situation, the prime minister appointed the foreign secretary, Dominic Raab, to deputise for him where necessary.
The coronavirus pandemic continues to give a global scare as tens of thousands continue dying. Over 1.1 million cases are now reported globally and no official medicine has been yet discovered.
