Musician Alexander Bagonza who is mostly known by his stage name A pass on Thursday 16th 2020 came out to call on all the musicians, celebrities and all Ugandan youth to ”wake up and get involved in national matters.”

In a Facebook live that saw over 65,000 views, the musicians said that he sometimes looks on as strange things are unfolding in the country but some things force him to come out and speak out.

”I hear some people campaigning that Eddy Kenzo should be deported back…there are millions of people suffering in China but you’re talking about kenzo…Kenzo is privileged…he sleeps in a hotel where he pays 300 dollars per day because he has that money…there are people who don’t have what to eat.” said the apoplectic singer.

”…Other leaders in other countries are doing everything to support their citizens but ours here are just doing everything to make us poor so that they can supply to us posho and beans…Ugandan youths, we need to wake up.”

In a Facebook live that took over one and a quarter hours, the singer got some time to answer to questions of his viewers where he did not have mercy blasting one fan who boasted that he was living in America and spending over 5000 dollars to live.

”…you living in America and spending 5000 dollars is none of my business. Go and tell it to Trump not me. I’m concerned about suffering Ugandans.” he furiously responded back.
