A military official working at the White House in United States has tested positive for coronavirus. The official, whose identity was not disclosed is said to have been working for President Donald Trump, including serving his meals.
According to a source, Trump and his vice-president Mike Pence both tested negative for the virus after the aide’s positive status was confirmed.
The valet, a member of the US Navy exhibited symptoms of the virus on Wednesday May 6, and Trump is said to be displeased by the development.
“We were recently notified by the White House Medical Unit that a member of the United States Military, who works on White House campus has tested positive for coronavirus. “The president and vice president have since tested negative for the virus and they remain in great health,” a statement from White House read.
