President Paul Kagame of Rwanda has stepped into fight against World Health Organization (WHO) over the controversial COVID-19 herbal medicine from Madagascar. According to his statement, President Kagame shouted that none of foreign countries will control Africa again and he asked his fellow African leaders to support the President of Madagascar in ensuring that the African herbal medicine becomes the cure for virus in the continent.
The controversial plant mixture first came to prominence when Madagascar’s President Andry Rajoelina announced it had been shown to treat the coronavirus. The herbal medicine has also been used for treatment of malaria. “The patients who have healed have taken no other product than COVID-Organics,” Rajoelina said. “The patients tend to heal [in] seven to 10 days,” Rajoelina added when asked for evidence.
More than 20 African countries have received for what is now dubbed as COVID-Organics, including the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Nigeria and Tanzania.
However, WHO has said that a herbal drink promoted by the president of Madagascar as a cure for COVID-19 should be tested to see if it is effective. The WHO has no evidence on how the drink works, according to the head of the group’s Africa office.
Kagame’s statement: “Enough is enough! no one from foreign coutries will ever rule or control Africa! We’re united and strong as one! We’ll defend our people and our continent Africa. We are not cheap to be corrupted by WHO or evil people. Let’s support our brother Mr ANDRY RAJOELINA the President of Madagascar in ensuring that the African Herbal medicine becomes the cure for CORONAVIRUS in Africa. We’ll continue depending on GOD and support our African medicine. It’s like you are looking for war. I wish Muammar Gadaffi and Comrade Robert Mugabe were still alive, but we still have enough man power to fight on and defeat the Goriath and kill it, WHO must be careful and watch out.”
