The duo are; Mukasa Fred, 60, a resident of Buziga and Nabimanya Andrew, 33, a resident of Salaama.
The two allegedly exhumed 11 dead bodies from Gangu, Busabala in Wakiso and transported them to Nama village in Kiringente sub county in Mpigi.
Mr Mpugu Jerevazio a resident of Nama village, and where Mukasa and Nabimanya wanted to bury these dead bodies alerted the Police.

Relatives to Mr Mpungu, told this site that their land at Gangu, Busabala had been sold and thus the new owner instructed the exhumation of all dead bodies from the plot sold.

Katonga region spokesperson Lydia Tumushabe told this site, that two who were arrested had no court order and they had not communicated to their family relatives where they want to bury the 11 dead bodies.
Ms Tumushabe said that police is still investigating the matter to its final conclusion.

The Ugandan land laws dictate that the new occupants of any sold or leased land seek court guidance in case they intend to relocate or exhume the buried deceased.
