In our ongoing weekly series, we continue to unearth Col. Kaka Bagyenda the sacked boss of the Internal Security Organization (ISO) which has been and still is Museveni’s wing of extrajudicial killings and abduction of opposition politicians and activists. Kaka’s history with human rights violations dates back to the Bush war days. According to people privy to the events that ensued in the 1980’s, people like Kaka were recruited into the NRA against their will and they were allegedly abducted by Museveni’s gang which compelled them to denounce UFM under which they staged a resitance against Dr. Apollo Milton Obote.

Museveni relied mostly on his espionage and links to the security agents within the Obote government which he had largely infiltrated. In fact there was nothing that happened without Museveni’s knowledge. He even had prior knowledge to planned military strikes and this would help him plan on time. Museveni also had close links with the Uganda National Liberation Army (UNLA) fighters in the West Nile and Northern Uganda. Key allies like Jeje Odongo Abubaker, Maj. Gen. Zed Marurur, Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala, Col. Ibrahim Abiriga, Gen. Moses Ali among others. It is said that Museveni relied on UNLA to dismantle the UFM during the 1981 war which implies that the UFM and FEDEMU was under attack from both Obote government troops and the NRA rebels, something that made it very vulnerable to extinction. Museveni relied on his insiders in the Obote government to retrieve classified war information. It is important to note that in any warfare when rebel groups are resisting a government, they tend to assume that they are under one front and a serving a common purpose which is why the UFM was never suspicious about Museveni’s sinister motives. However at a later stage of the struggle, Museveni embarked on the abduction and elimination game of fighters he perceived to be a threat to his later plans. It is under such situations that the head of UFM Dr. Andrew Lutakome Kayiira was assassinated on Museveni’s orders.

Food for thought

If Museveni would do such evil things to his fellow fighters with whom they purportedly fought to liberate this country and on often times he would even cease attacking the enemy and opt to confront his fellow fighters, what makes one think that he cannot unleash terror on the current opposition politicians who are challenging his overstay plans?

NRA/M factions

The NRM has its unknown modus operandi which we’ve plunged deep and excavated in our investigations. The NRM occupation operates under three factions which Ugandans have never known throughout the 35 years Museveni Tibuhaburwa has been on the steering wheel. Below are the factions;

1. The real Bush War historical who fought alongside Gen. Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni. This group has the real pioneers of the Bush war struggle. These includes Generals like; Elly Tumwiine, Henry Tumukunde, Mugisha Muntu, Kahinda Otafiire, Jim Muhwezi, Kale Kayihura, among others.
2. Group two is a comprise of people who were recruited straight into the NRA without having been part of different rebel outfits. The likes include students of Makerere University who abandoned their studies to join the Bush. They include, Dr. Kizza Besigye, Mugisha Muntu, Benon Biraaro (RIP), Aronda Nyakairima (RIP) among others.
3. Group three includes those who were absorbed from other rebel outfits. These were nicknamed half castes during the Bush war and they include the likes of Col. Kaka Bagyenda, the late Kasirte Ggwanga among others.

Those who think they love the NRM more than its founders like the late Nobel Mayombo and James Kazine, under which group of the three aforementioned do you fall categorically. Full Figure, Kusasira, Bajjo and the likes have no space in the three categories. They are just ‘useful idiots’ like Hon. Nambooze Bakireke reiterated.

Militia groups

The current Militia wings that are being formed are all under the direct patronage of Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and their mission is to get rid of any individual who stands in their succession plan.
