The National Unity Platform party Lord Mayor aspirant Nabillah Naggayi Ssempala has given her account of her first hand account of the Saturday manifesto launch that took place at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara. Below is her narrative;

Hon Augustine Ruzindana, on his page has ably put words to the real story of the NUP Manifesto Launch in Mbarara yesterday! I can only add to it by mentioning the throngs of people who lined up the Mbarara Highway right after the Bypass when Police and the army were pushing the NUP Presidential Candidate Convoy to Kampala. The soldiers were tired, the pressure to keep up the facade that Mbarara and western region were not ready for Change Shattered and the only option was to have Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu out of Mbarara. If it was possible, the security forces would have airlifted him to Magere.

The Security Forces literally physically ejected the NUP convoy out of Mbarara but were busy fighting, hitting, teargassing and Firing bullets into the Air. The Youth in Mbarara are determined and sold onto the Mission2021 NUP/People Power Agenda.

We drove through Biharwe, people were chanting; “Twagala Bobi si Bosco”!
Ssanga the same, Lyantonde, Kinoni, Kyazanga right through Masaka. By then it was 9:00pm and the people were still on the sides of the road, the mother of all teargas attack happened at Nyendo Round About. Some of us had stopped to refresh and use the convenience places but were tear gassed, pepper sprayed. We scampered into our cars with our skins burning, coughing and desperately trying to escape the physical reactions to the chemical assault.

Back to the road, people were braving the dark in the night and waiting, waving and wanted a glimpse of Kyagulanyi Sentamu. They were oblivious of the curfew and the police was being stretched to handle the imminent Will of the people who are hungry for the change in Leadership of this country!

The tide cannot be stopped and the regime players need to think of Plan B. The Youth will not be patient anymore! This has never been witnessed before!
