Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert alias Bobi Wine of the NUP has today showcased a massive display in the purported ‘Mecca’of the ruling NRM party.
The day began with an alien deployment intended to scare off supporters of the National Unity Platform party who were in high moods of enthusiastically welcoming their liberator, Bobi Wine. Like we earlier reported, the UPDF and military resorted to enforcing an illegitimate broad daylight curfew and ordered all people to vacate their work places and retreat back to their residences. Those who defied the orders were thumped by mean looking soldiers brandishing long sticks.
At around noon after braving all road blocks and police trails, Kyagulanyi turned up in Luweero town amidst loud cheers and ululations from the crowds. Kyagulanyi heroically entered the town and addressed his scheduled rally. In his submission, Kyagulanyi reawakened the people of Luweero. He reminded them of the sacrifices they’ve endured for the incumbent president Museveni and his NRM government. Bobi told the people that they deserve to be far from where they are today. He deemed it unfit and unfair for Luweero to be christened a ‘Mecca’ and yet it is one of the least developed districts in Uganda. Bobi pledged to industrialise Luweero and establish more factories in the area. “I am here to help the farmers who are being exploited by capitalists. You must gain from your pineapples, and other agro products,” Bobi said.
