Emerging unverified reports indicate that the Magere residence of the NUP party presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine is being targeted by the UPDF.

In a social media post being shared by the NUP youth wing leader Saasi Marvin, the details of the missile station are included;

Saasi writes;

“I’ve got information that there are 3 missiles stationed in Komamboga since after new year’s day — stationed in an open ground along the road that comes from Mpererwe through Ssekanyonyi Town. These missiles are said to be stationed in such a way that they face directly into Magere. Apparently, the missiles are manned by military men who put on camouflage uniform that closely resembles that worn by U. S. Army servicemen (although it’s neither U. S. Military Uniform nor are the men white). Can anyone please confirm or dispute this report?”

We could not ably retrieve a comment from the UPDF spokesperson Brig. Flavia Byekwaso as none of ber contacts was available at the time of filing this report. It should be noted that less than a week back, Bobi Wine evacuated his family citing security concerns after he had allegedly got reports that the security forces were planning to abduct his children and ‘coerce him into subjugation’.
