The Economic Freedom Fighters party leader Julius Malema who is widely known for his outspokenness has urged Uganda’s opposition leader Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine to remain unshaken by all the repression imposed on him by president Museveni.
“Bobi Wine is our own brother. He has inspired many of us. Age is on his side. Even if he does not win now, nature will resolve the problem. There is no old man who will defeat the youths. I told the same thing to Zuma,” Malema says. “Bobi should soldier on because he holds a full generational backing. These old men will go at any time. Nature is on our side. I am sure Jacob Zuma is somewhere watching me on TV running up and down. We will not allow old men to impose themselves on young Africans,” Malema warned.
The EFF head also raised concerns on how a ‘pensioner’ could insist on leading a young generation. “Museveni is very old and in pensionable age,” Malema says. “Bobi Wine should not be scared by these old men in pensionable age. He has been in prison cells, has been tortured but still he is resolved to liberate his people. Bobi Wine inspires all of us,” Malema adds.
