The Uganda police spokesperson Fred Enanga has set a tough term for the incarcerated NUP party presidential aspirant Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine if he wants all the armed forces to vacate his residence.
Speaking to journalists this Wednesday morning during a security briefing, Enanga broke the silence on the situation of Bobi Wine and called on him to denounce all his claims that the elections were rigged and also take oath that there will not be a single scene of post election violence anywhere in the country.
“Bobi Wine must denounce violence before release,” Enanga says. “As the police and our sister security forces, we will not release from Hon. Kyagulanyi from his residence until he denounces violence,” he insists.
Today marks the seventh day since Hon. Kyagulanyi alongside his wife Barbie Ithungo and an 18 months old minor were confined in Magere, Wakiso district. Visits to the presidential contender are strongly prohibited regardless of one’s social or political status as manifested in how the US envoy Natalie Brown and Bobi Wine lawyers were forced away from his home.
