Speaking at an exclusive interview with NTV on Tuesday, Ameria calmly conceded and congratulated the newly elected Mawokota county MP, Hilary Kiyaga alias Dr. Hilderman of the National Unity Platform party.

Asked what could have led to the rejection of her reelection and that of her fellow ministers, Amelia blamed all this on the generational uprising. She says the young people are fed up of seeing old faces in government. “I could see the fatigue of the people. We have overstayed in power and yet they need change,” Amelia says. “It’s time for us to brace for new leadership. We just have to offer counsel to new leaders and work in unison for the good of our country,” she adds.
