Masaka Regional police commander, AIGP Abaine Enock has slammed supporters of the National Unity Platform party presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine saying they are only good at social media noise.
Abaine said this last night in a highly classified security forces WhatsApp group where he was assuring his colleagues that the NUP supporters were not going to do anything to NBS but instead all this will stop at the keyboard.
“You see, when I shot their Ghetto TV journalist Ashraf with a canister in Masaka, I thought they were going to cone after my family as they kept threatening on Facebook,” Abaine posted in the WhatsApp group. “But nothing has ever happened to me or my kids. In fact my wife took the kids to swim the next day. I wanted to see who would have the guts to harm them,” he added in another post.
Abaine further said that NBS will still overcome the NUP threats. “These are normal social media things. I don’t expect much from them,” he said.
Abaine’s brutality victim, Ashraf Kasirye has been in the Intensive care Unit for a period close to a month undergoing several surgeries to correct his damaged skull. He was yesterday discharged and urged to continue showing up for a therapy and medication to help him retain his memory. All his hospital bills were covered by family members, NUP supporters and friends despite the fact that he was shot and harmed by a serving police officer of the RPC rank. Abaine Enock has since lounged freely with no hopes of being sanctioned by the police standards unit. In fact, this site has reliably learnt that he is still brutalising people in Masaka.
