Reliable multiple news reports indicate that security personnel have today invaded the residence of the National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine with the intent of seizing his newly acquired armoured vehicle.
A mobile phone phootage shared by Kawempe North legislator Muhammad Ssegirinya which has already enveloped social media depicts heavily armed commandos breaking into Magere.
The masked commandos are seen forcefully invading the residence of Hon. Kyagulanyi to enforce a directive from the IGG’s office which seeks to have the vehicle inpounded in case Hon. Kyagulanyi does not declare how he ably obtained it.
Our reporter is following up closely to ascertain the development. A source in security who spoke to this site under the condition of anonymity reveals that the seizure is a presidential directive. “The president cannot allow an ordinary civilian to have such sophisticated powers of having an armoured vehicle,” the source says. “Chances are high that Kyagulanyi may lose the vehicle,” he adds.
