At least Ten students were last night brutally shot by a trigger happy police officer in Gulu district.

The ten S.4 students from St. Joseph’s College, Layibi had reportedly sneaked out of the college last night and went to Bright Valley Girls school from where the night guards opened live bullets on them.

At least two have been confirmed dead, one critically injured and being transferred to Lacor Hospital. Three are in police custody and four returned to the college after fleeing the scuffle. NBS journalist Benson Ongom reports that the incident is being investigated by the Gulu central police station.
