A day after the leakage of disgusting photos showing his flock braving the heavy downpour, controversial city pastor, Aloysius Bujingo has asked his critics especially supporters of NUP to ‘mind their business’ and leave him to preach the gospel of God.
Reacting on the photos that enveloped social media platforms on Monday where his flock were seen withstanding a heavy downpour, the House of Prayer Ministries proprietor scoffed at his critics saying that he does not have time to waste on ‘deluded fools’.
“You see, when I see these hooligans in NUP making noise about religious issues I just laugh and wonder what would happen when they get power,” he said. “Issues of religion are not for everyone. Let them do their politics of abusing and insulting people but they will never achieve anything,” he adds.
Asked why he has to-date refused to construct a better church so that his flock do not have to suffer with the rain all the time, Bujingo responded that in everything that happens in this world, a sacrifice has to be made. “Religion is about sacrifice to God. If rain is the pain one has to go through to show their commitment to God then that is the price we have to pay,” he said as he wore a smile.
His worth valued at $2.5 million where he owns a fleet of vehicles, mansion and a fully fledged media house, Pastor Bujingo remains reluctant towards making a decent structure where his followers can comfortably worship God. The church remains in a worrying state whereby believers have to face off with the hot sun and downpour which penetrates through the weak tents.
