Bobi, whose whereabouts have been a centre of concern to his political nemesis, Gen. Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni announced his return in a social media statement published on his official handles.
“This evening, I returned to the country from an official working trip. I am grateful to all Ugandans who have held fort and continued the struggle for freedom and democracy in various ways, despite incredible challenges.
Today, the leadership of the National Unity Platform came together to pray for all comrades who are missing, as well as those who are under illegal detention at Kitalya and other prisons across the country. They have also handed some gifts to the families of the comrades to enable them go through the Easter holiday. I appreciate all elected MPs and other friends who have contributed to this effort and continue to support our comrades and their families. The revolution shall be won,” wrote Bobi Wine on his Facebook page.
