An executive directive has reportedly been issued through a letter from the office foreign affairs Ministry to all Ugandan missions to trace for the whereabouts of opposition leader, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine. In the letter addressed and copied to all Ugandan ambassadors, the missions are tasked to trace in their jurisdictions and establish if the opposition leader is within.
Reports indicate that president Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni is restless and has since deployed his spies in the External Security Organization ( ESO) to trace for the opposition leader and find out what exactly inspired his trip.
According to an official communication by the National Unity Platform party, their president Hon. Kyagulanyi was to last for four working days in that trip but the stay has been strained due to unexplained reasons. The delay is said to be traumatising Mr. Museveni who demands to know where his major challenger has pitched camp.
“All foreign missions have been urged to look into their details and trace for Bobi Wine,” revealed an official in foreign affairs. “This is a very simple issue and should not be of media concern. Of course it’s in good faith that we are doing this. Bobi Wine’s security is a national concern,” he adds.
Bobi Wine left the country last weekend to attend a summit of strugglists on the African continent according to the official NUP communication by the party spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi. He was to last for four working days. However, the trip has been prolonged, something that is widening fear in the circles of Mr. Tibuhaburwa.
