In the yet to be verified tweet allegedly posted by the prisons boss, Ssegirinya is urged to visit a better equipped medical facility and subject himself to a blood clot test.

“Ssegirinya’s health deterioration results from the first batch of AstraZeneca COVID vaccine we experimented on the Kitalya prison inmates. We implore him to have a blood clot test which is a common side effect in all AstraZeneca users,” tweeted the prisons boss on April 18 at 17:26hrs.

We could not independently verify the said tweet but when we visited Dr. Byabashaija’s timeline, the tweet had been deleted by press time.

Ssegirinya is apparently at Aga Khan hospital Nairobi where he was airlifted on Sunday for proper medical management.
