The Alliance for National Transformation party president and bush war hero, Gen. Gregg Mugisha Muntu has reassured his supporters that there are still chances of them reclaiming power despite a tragic defeat in the concluded polls. Muntu who is on a nationwide tour assured his supporters that there is light at the end of the tunnel and soon ANT shall shine.

“Since the beginning of time, there are remnants and these are always few but in the end they win unless they give up. People may look at us as few but we are remnants who are not ready to give up and we are sure we shall overcome,”he said.

He further urged them not to be detracted by the outcome of the polls where ANT did not field even a single MP in the eleventh parliament. “I ask you not to give up. In our society, things are upside down. The crooks walk freely with their heads up while the honest men and women are hiding themselves. One thing that the late Magufuli of Tanzania tried to achieve was to ensure that crooks go into hiding. We have to reverse this trend in our country,” he said.

He added,”We are few but have the values and principles and determination to transform this country and by God’s grace we shall scatter those numbers.”
