A well placed whistleblower in security who begged not to be mentioned has revealed that the newly released figures announced by the Uganda Revenue Authority in regard to the armoured vehicle of former presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine are a diretive from the first son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The source adds that Muhoozi is a perennial hater of the youthful leader who rose from scratch to become a stumbling block to the heirarchical designed presidential project where by default the first son was to take over from the incumbent president Museveni in case he steps out of power.
“Muhoozi is envious of this young man who rose out of nowhere. He came from the ghetto to get to the presidential ballot at a much more tender age,” the security source says. “It was a directive to bar Hon. Kyagulanyi from collecting his car,” he adds.
Another state house official who declined to be named says the URA was on the verge of giving up on Bobi’s car but the officials received a last minute call tasking them to levy a hefty tax on the vehicle. On Monday night at Piato hotel in Kampala, the SFC officials and URA crew met and discussed on how to deter the NUP strongman from claiming the vehicle, our well placed security source revealed when asked where everything was planned.
