President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni has told the delegation of MPs at the NRM party retreat in Kyankwanzi that he was not to concede defeat to the National Unity Platform party candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine.

A boastful Museveni says he was not to fold his arms and watch on as power slips to what he called the ‘wrong hands’. “I saw them shouting Bobi Wine everywhere and I said okay we shall see. I had my EC on standby. My boys too had returned from Mogadishu and they knew what we were going to do,” Museveni said.

“What I can assure Ugandans is that security is guaranteed here. The Uniform I am putting on is green which is a colour for the Forests and the bushes. I can still even go back to the bush and fight if anybody tries to disturb our peace. When Obote tried the nonsense, I told Maama Janet that am going to the bush because I could not just fold my hands when the people of Uganda were suffering. I went there and we kicked him out. He regrets his actions even upto now,” he added.
