The state Minister for information Peter Ogwang has sternly warned that a heavy penalty awaits the National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine, should he dare risk to take oath as president elect of the Republic of Uganda.
Addressing the media this Tuesday morning, Ogwang said government has already learnt of a plot by the opposition politicians who he says want to sabotage the swearing in ceremony of president Museveni. “We already have the information but I want to warn all those planning mayhem to be ready for fire,” he said. “Plans for the inauguration will go as planned at Kololo independence grounds and only accredited people shall be allowed access to the venue,” he added.

On rumours that Bobi Wine plans to swear himself, Ogwang says let him dare and see the consequences. “That is treasonous and highly punishable by the laws governing this country,” he said. “I want to caution those who plan to swear in themselves that trouble awaits them,” he added.
