The National Unity Platform party president Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine says the end of Mr. Museveni is near and that Ugandans should not lose hope. Bobi made these remarks on Wednesday while addressing NUP elected councillors at the party headquarters in Kamwokya.

Bobi says even when Mr. Museveni aggressively takes oath next Wednesday to impose his repressive reign on Ugandans for a sixth term, the struggle for liberation must persist. “We must continue to demand for our victory,” Bobi rallied his supporters.
On the tribalism narrative peddled by regime propagandists who claim NUP is a Buganda tribal outfit, Bobi says all these are divisive assertions hatched to suppress the resolve of Ugandans passionate about change. “I have comrade Rubongoya here, he ain’t a Muganda. Oguttu the NUP Makerere flag bearer ain’t a Muganda, Nambeshe is from the East,” Bobi said. “Please disregard all the diversionary propaganda that the regime cooks up to maintain the infights. We have to remain resilient and focused,” he added.
