The speaker made these remarks moments after collecting the party nomination papers on Wednesday at the headquarters in Kampala.

“I want CEC to explain to me why Museveni is not subjected to the same. Why isn’t he also vetted?,” Kadaga asks. “Nobody puts him under any vetting. He automatically qualifies and yet this is too undemocratic. Which kind of democracy is this?,” she asks.

Kadaga’s comments come in anticipation that she is likely to be dropped in favour of her Deputy, Jacob Oulanyah who submitted his tools of power yesterday as a gesture that he is conc sure that he shall replace the Busoga strong woman.

The NRM party upon receiving nominations from the interested parties shall hold primaries on Sunday at Kololo independence grounds. The party MPs unlike independent leaning MPs shall vote for who will hold the NRM flag. Dombo Lumala Emmanuel says that results from Sunday’s voting shall be the final determinant factor.
