The visit which has become the talk of Ugandans occured at Saleh’s Northern Uganda based palace in Gulu. It is said that Chameleone led a delegation of financially constrained artistes grappling with the poverty arising from the lockdown. In the entourage that visited Saleh’s Gulu palace were his own brothers; Weasel Manizo and Pallaso from the Mayanja family.

While in Gulu, sources say artistes pleased with Gen. Saleh to give them some financial relief so they can pay off their debts and also make ends meet. A source knowledgeable with the meeting says Chameleone and his brothers bagged UGX 150m each from the deal while the unlucky artistes walked away with UGX 1m each.

Immediately after pocketing tax payers money, the musicians went ahead to hold a concert that violated Covid SOPs. Our reporter managed to retrieve one of the clips showing artistes like Chameleone lacking a face mask.
