The Radisson Hotels group which has been offering accomodation to the indebted Ugandan basketball team has strongly contested the lingering information peddled by Ugandan newspapers claiming that the Commander of the UPDF Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba settled the bill of the Ugandan basketball team.

Earlier on Friday evening, Muhoozi paid off all social media influencers on Twitter and Facebook plus the mainstream media to peddle a narrative that he had rescued the stranded Uganda national Basketball team which had a whooping UGX 360m to settle following a great deal of time in the Radisson hotels.

In a clarification tweet published by the verified Radisson Hotels Twitter handle, it is revealed that Muhoozi Kainerugaba is either making a fool of himself or he is rather pursuing political and social mileage.

“Thanks for reaching out however this is not factually correct as FERWABA (Rwanda Basketball Federation) has already settled the bill and the team have been very much enjoying their stay the past few days. Please reach out to us via DM to discuss it further~Suzy,” the hotel tweeted.
