The Uganda Prisons Service spokesperson Frank Baine Mayanja says they have not yet received any production warrant for the NUP MPs from the Masaka High Court.
An aggressive Baine says this was the reason why they had to keep MPs Allan Ssewanyana and Muhammad Ssegirinya in their custody on Monday night despite the bail that had been granted by the Masaka High Court.

“We did not received any production warrant for the two MPs,” Baine reacted this morning. “I heard that some requirements were not met. They has not paid the cash bail to the bank but if that is sorted out, then court shall notify us and we release them,” he adds.
NUP’s Ssegirinya and Ssewanyana were offered as sacrificial lambs to cover up for the real perpetrators of the Masaka killings.
