There is high tension inside Masaka High Court as the wait for the court’s decision on MPs Muhammad Ssegirinya and Allan Ssewanyana’s bail application is on.

The two legislators; Allan Ssewanyana and Muhammad Ssegirinya who are battling with trumped charges of aggravated murders, terrorism and treason filed for bail citing ill health conditions.

A delegation of NUP leaders have all flanked the courtroom. There is heavy deployment all over the courtroom premises with police anticipating violence.

Meanwhile, sources say the MPs are likely to be arraigned via a video link from Kigo prison where they’ve been detained for over a month.
