Salaamu Musumba: FDC will not work with NUP

Musumba, a renowned outspoken critic of the NRM has left everyone in utter despair over this unbelievable moment. Despite being in the opposition FDC party where she is even a NEC member, Musumba is a sworn hater and critic of the National Unity Platform party and its leader Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine. She has always despised Bobi Wine as an ‘amateur’ in politics. She says Kyagulanyi lacks the experience and momentum to lead a country like Uganda which is why she would rather stay under the dictatorship of Museveni.

Musumba is married to Isanga Musumba, an ardent supporter of the ruling NRM party and a State Minister for urban planning in the Museveni cabinet.

In the recent polls, Musumba challenged the incumbent Rebecca Kadaga for the Kamuli woman MP polls and she miserably lost the position. She would later connive with her funder Gen. Salim Saleh to drag Kadaga to court in a bid to frustate her parliament speaker third term bid and indeed the plot succeeded.

By press time, neither FDC nor Salam Musumba had come out to comment on the social media pictures. However, this is not the first time that the FDC bigwigs are surrendering to NRM. The most current being Owek. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo the FDC Buganda Vice President who accepted a Ministerial slot in the Museveni regime she has purportedly opposed all her lifetime. Museveni has on several occasions said he has allies in all other opposition parties apart from NUP.
