Addressing swipes of journalists on Monday during the weekly security briefing at Naguru police headquarters, Twine who is famous for his celebratory remarks on NUP blogger Lumbuye arrest revealed that Kakwenza crossed the line as he attacked the first son Muhoozi Kainerugaba in a tweet.

“Freedom must have a limit. We arrested Kakwenza because he breached the computer misuse act when he abused the president and the first son in a tweet he made on December 27,” Twiine exclaimed. “He will be produced in court tomorrow (Tuesday) to be charged,” he added.

Police allege that Mr Rukirabashaija made offensive communication, under the Computer Misuse Act, against President Museveni and his son, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who doubles as the Commander of Land Forces, between December 23, 2021 and December 26, 2021.

Twiine says the lawyer for Kakwenza counsel Eron Kiiza is making blatant lies about his client claiming he has been tortured by security during his 6 day custody. “Kiiza is lying. We have not tortured Kakwenza. Just wait for him in court tomorrow (Tuesday) where he will be charged,” he said.
