The founding leadership of the National Unity, and Reconciliation Party (NURP) headed by Moses Nkonge Kibalama which morphed into the National Unity Platform party is seeking a termination of its memorandum of understanding with the People Power movement of Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert.
The fiasco comes at a time when the NUP party has been facing off with a barrage of state inspired attacks meant to antagonize its apparent leadership.
In a presser held this morning, the Kibalama group shared a detailed press statement highlighting their justifications for the termination of their MoU with People Power.
Important to note is the fact that the high court judge Hon. Musa Ssekaana in his verdict legalized the leadership of NUP under Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert. Meanwhile, the NUP party Secretariat has this morning held a high profile meeting at the party heaf offices in Kamwokya. Sources privy say some of the issues discussed relate to the resurgence of the Kibalama group melodrama.
