According to the clip making rounds on social media, a mob of angry youths is seen approaching the MP before they are restrained by the city Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago who pleads with them to calm down and spare the MP. The Lord Mayor is then joined by his Counter Terrorism police escort who drags the MP away and leads him to his vehicle to escape.

The youths who were mainly from Kawempe accuse the MP with negligence as they claim he abandoned the constituency moments after being elected to replace FDC’s Mubarak Munyagwa who had just served only one term. Kazibwe, formerly a president of the Ugands Journalists Association was voted with hopes that he would use his journalistic skills to advocate for the needs of his constituents, however he deviated and his electorates lost hope in him. He apparently operates a Television Station dubbed Nyce TV in Makindye where he pitched camp after parting ways with Kawempe. He is also accused with maintaining silence as his comrade of Kawempe North Muhammad Ssegirinya is being persecuted by government. He is also said to have advocated for the ejection of Boda Boda riders off the streets of Kampala notwithstanding the fact that the venture employs close to one million youths.
